Hawke DL17 - Conversion April 2000

Top Left: Chassis painted with 'shark grey' enamel paint

Above: Aluminium panels & bulkheads fitted
(Foam filled 2 gallon petrol tank also in place)

Left: Original fibreglass top body section and nose cone.
Perhaps I won't use the 1975 Shell Oils colour scheme!
(Who was Bill Fry anyway)

Good old Dunlop FF1600 Tyres.

Now have 14 assorted tyres
(all cost £60 less than one new slick tyre!)

All the parts for the front suspension, brakes & steering.
(in need of a lick of paint)

Cockpit view: Gear change is a cut down & reversed Mini rod change remote.
